IEP WorkBook

The IEP Meeting Pre-planning workbook is intended for parents or persons responsible for planning special needs education for a child in public school.

Our favorite thing about this workbook is that it intentionally begins with the mental readiness of parents. The IEP process is centered around the child, but as the primary caregiver, parents also need support. The workbook focuses on mental readiness, the makeup of the IEP team, the role of the parent, communication, and the IEP process.

Each section begins with goal setting, definitions, and step-by-step instructions for you to learn and practice. However, in order to achieve success, you must make the time to learn and be intellectually curious about something that may be complex in nature, but with practice, it’s achievable, and an essential stop on your parenting journey.
